whiny baby tales

Today we saw about 10 houses. Probably too many, but I'm an organizational freak so I wasn't feeling too overwhelmed. Plus I pawned off Zachary to Daddy, brother and sister! :P

Out of ten houses, we liked 2. A lot. Mike loved one way more than I do...ditto for me and the other house way more than Mike. This is going to be "fun".

We have a list of 31 houses left to see. Sellers hate this market (we sure did last year) but as a buyer...I think it's great I have so much to chose from and can afford to be super picky. We both know what we definitely want/need in a house and yard and we are, for the most part, on the same page. He wants silly things like the ability to drive into the back yard (why???) and I want something big enough for the family now but not too big when the teenagers are gone. We both want a certain area but I'm more willing to go a bit outside of said area to get the house that is right for our family. He's stubborn. I'm stubborn. Who will win??? Hopefully the entire family will.

Zachary is growing like a weed! 29 pounds 10 ounces, 33 inches tall and a 19 1/2 inch head circumference! He's one big boy. Got the last of his baby shots and a flu shot...he's good to go until Kindergarten! He's becoming such a charmer...saying/signing "thank you" to the nurse that gave him his shots! LOL

He's sure a sweet boy, even when his silly teeth are coming in sideways! His top molars are not coming straight down...they are coming out the sides of his gums. The doctor said, and I know Zachary agrees, that is a much more painful way to get teeth in. Not to mention the "back and forth" movement of said molars...one day they are half out, the next they are barely there. Poor bug. I hope they come in soon...for good!

The old saying...if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. It appears the "cheap diaper site" is too good to be true. I got an email tonight from an online friend that said this same "person" ran this same scam last year.

GAH!!!!! I hate it when "people" treat mankind like this. I am such a nice person and think the best of everyone around me, and then I get screwed!!!!!

Steph I hope your bank is as diligent as mine has been. Please keep an eye out for fraudulent charges!!!

Bragging: Today after work I ran by the post office before heading home. Zachary sat in the back seat in his car seat happily watching the world go by when suddenly he says in a very chirpy happy voice, "Da-Dee"!! Guess what he saw, and recognized as "Da-Dee"? A UPS truck. Smart boy!

Ranting: Got a call from our bank this afternoon, the fraud department. Calling to ask if I had charged a couple of web related orders. Never heard of the web site/company. Both charges totaled under $100, but still.

Raving: My bank called me, well before any charges went through my account, because THEY WERE WATCHING MY ACCOUNT CLOSELY!!!!! I feel very good about that, knowing the fraud department really is doing it's job to protect our accounts. Bummer that my debit card is now inactive and I'll have to actually use C A S H or write checks until a new card arrives. Bummer!

I also got a call from the gym that I'll be going to for the next 8 weeks, cool that they are so on top of things too. I'm going in on Saturday for a trial exercise routine appointment. Wish me luck!!!

Zachary has recently discovered the fun of "dress up", sporting Daddy's wild and crazy tank top (pulled up with a hair tie so as not to fall ass over teakettle on the stairs) and his Frog boots he got for Christmas.



I told him he's such a good sport, but seriously, aren't those going to be AWESOME pictures to share with his first serious girlfriend??? I love that kid!

Everyone I talk to lately is on the weight loss bandwagon...except me. I guess I should do something other than stuff my piehole if I want to live long enough to see a grandchild or two, right?

I was watching something on Discovery Health and they are, once again, doing the 8 week National Body Challenge. I joined. Wish me luck!!!
